FlexRay
Time-triggered dual-channel automotive network with static TDMA and dynamic mini-slot segments inside a communication cycle. Sync frames and cold-start nodes establish a global time base that CAN-style arbitration does not provide. It targets chassis and x-by-wire determinism, though Automotive Ethernet is displacing many new designs.
