Automotive Ethernet
100BASE-T1 · 1000BASE-T1 · OPEN Alliance
Single-pair Ethernet PHYs (OPEN Alliance / IEEE 802.3bw/bp and successors) built for vehicle harnesses, often with TSN for latency and shaping. Above the PHY, frames remain Ethernet II/VLAN; cameras and diagnostics ride familiar IP stacks. Link training, SQI, and master/slave clock roles replace RJ-45 habits.
