IS-41 · MAP (ANSI) · ANSI/TIA-41
ANSI-41 (IS-41) is the North American mobile application protocol family over TCAP for AMPS/TDMA/CDMA mobility: registration, authentication, handoff, and SMS. It parallels GSM MAP with different ops and ASN.1; many interconnect STPs still carry ANSI-41 alongside ITU MAP.
