RoCE v1

RDMA over Converged Ethernet v1

Lab ready Full lab

RDMA over Converged Ethernet version 1 encapsulates InfiniBand verbs in Ethernet frames without IP/UDP headers. It is an L2-only design largely superseded by RoCEv2 for routed datacenter fabrics. Useful historically and on flat L2 islands that still require verbs.
