Protocol
H.245
H.323 multimedia control protocol for capability exchange, master/slave determination, and logical channel open/close. Fast Start and H.245 tunneling inside H.225 reduce setup round trips. Modern deployments often prefer SIP/SDP but H.245 remains in legacy video networks.
